Okay, so 1.5 weeks later, I am finally posting about our trip to New York. It has been a crazy couple of weeks, and I am still somewhat recovering.
(Perhaps I am tired because I went running at 7am this morning. Not sure)
Anyways, it might take a couple of posts to share with you all that we did, but it is worth the read!
We flew into New York on Thursday night. We had to wait a bit to catch our shuttle, but so glad that we didn’t waste 80 bucks on a cab!
We arrived at our hotel after a lot of twists and turns on the streets of New York. What was fun about coming in at night was we got to see the city all lite up and got to witness first hand how the city doesn’t sleep.
Day 1:
We thought it would be fun to get up early to for the Today Show’s Concert Series. Chris Brown was playing and we thought it would be a fun way to start out our trip. In order to get a good spot, you have to get there at 6am even though the show doesn’t start until 7am. Well, we got up at 5:30 am and joined the other 18,000+ fans outside the NBC Studios.
Needless to say we didn’t last long, me specifically. I tend to be a tad claustrophobic and the pressing crowds weren’t the fun I was counting on at 6:30 in the morning. The concert was just starting as we walked away.

We found a lovely diner that served pancakes and coffee!
We then made our way to Central Park, stopping to take pictures of interesting things.
We eventually found Good Morning America’s Concert Series and enjoyed some music by Brad Paisley!
I think I have seen this fountain in a movie or two.
We had seen some girls in front of us take pictures like this, we thought we would be cool too!
Broadway, baby!!
We pretty much spent all afternoon in Times Square!
Our dinner before the show at Stecchino!
“Catch Me If You Can” at the Neil Simon Theater!!
Times Square at Night!
Day 2 to come next!
